If the universe were a painting ...

The Seth alternative to the Big Bang ...

“If the universe were a painting, for example, the painter would not have first painted darkness, then an explosion, then a cell, then the joining together of groups of cells into a simple organism, then that organism’s multiplication into others like it, or traced a pattern from an amoeba or a paramecium on upward – but he or she would have instead begun with a panel of light, an underpainting, in which all of the world’s organisms were included, though not in detail.  Then in a creativity that came from the painting itself the colors would grow rich, the species attain their delineations, the winds blow and the seas move with the tides.”

Big Bang

I've often thought that our "Big Bang" theory has got to be one of the dumbest ideas offered as an explanation of anything.  Seth makes a lot more sense.  In reality, we create an instance of this universe in each moment of physical experience according to our beliefs about linear time, physical laws, form, etc.  As such, at each moment we give ourselves the illusion of a beginning and fuss about the theoretical ending.

What is real is each moment.  Each moment is a 3D painting in form and atoms of an underlying state of consciousness and living energy.  We're like an artist in Kindergarten with thick crayons and poor coordination.  Imagine the representations of this very moment in more evolved and more expressive realities!  (Wine may help here!).

"When you ask about the beginning of a universe, you are speaking of a visible universe.

"There is consciousness within each conceivable hypothetical point within the universe.  There is therefore "an invisible universe" out of which the visible or objective universe springs.

... "Your universe did not emerge at any one point, therefore, or with any one initial cell - but everywhere it began to exist at once, as the inner pulsations of the invisible universe reached certain intensities that "impregnated" the entire physical system simultaneously."

Easy to say, hard to do

Today's Seth is one of those things that's so easy to say but really hard to live.  OK, everything is God, including me, including those guys that murdered a bunch of random people in London ... even "The Donald" south of the border.  We get so lost in the illusion of reality that it's hard to believe that God could be this dumb or perverse.  Intellectually we know that All That Is (aka God) is all possibilities, including anything worse and better than we can think of, but when we're living in a duality where the consensus is lost in the muck it's pretty hard to reach for the stars.

We happen to be "making known the unknown" as Ramtha would say, tasting the coffee and smelling the roses in one tiny corner of the vastness of All That Is, as a Being of All That Is (a "godlet" as John Van Auken would say).  We are the eyes and ears of All That Is exploring a physical reality made of atoms and molecules.  In that exploration we create new possibilities ... we are the process of first creation, the "Big Bang" of All That Is.

As the "Big Bangers" of the infinite creative expression of All That Is, physical reality just provides us with feedback (in materialized, symbolic terms) of the implications of the attitudes, beliefs, choices, decisions, thoughts and feelings that we're exploring and which are manifested through our desire, imagination and expectation.  We never see the big picture ... but we can choose love, joy, etc. in each moment to lighten the place up!

There seems to be no limit to Good and Bad and no real understanding of what is Good and Bad since we see so little of the big picture.  It's like each of us is a living, breathing pixel in some vast Cosmic computer screen ... and our job is to express a certain vibration (colour) in order for the big picture to make sense.  But, unlike that pixel, we are creators of the big picture.  This is why connecting with our Higher Self and waking up from the illusion is so important so we can make choices that make sense in the big picture.  It is also very important to love and to feel each moment deeply since our job is to make known the unknowns (Ramtha).  This moment is All That Is experiencing it's creative, primordial explosion.

"There is, I know, in heroic terms a love, a knowledge, a compassion, a creativity that can be assigned to All That Is, which is within each creature.  I know that each smallest "particle" of consciousness can never be broke down, and that each contains an infinite capacity for creativity and development - and that each is innately blessed.

"There is a design and a designer, but they are so combined, the one within and the one without, that it is impossible to separate them.  The Creator is also within its creations, and the creations themselves are gifted with creativity."

Everything is Conscious

From time to time I imagine how the things around me are aware of my thoughts, feelings, love, joy, etc.  Seth here is pointing out that the very building blocks of matter are conscious ... but that also means that every construct from atoms to molecules, DNA, cells, bodies, tables, earth, solar system, galaxies, on up are all different forms of consciousness, gestalts.

Generally, wherever we see rotation (e.g. the earth rotates around the sun) and revolution (the earth revolves on it's axis) we have a gestalt of consciousness.  It is a very grounding and energizing thing to do some times, to relax (in your pool, etc.) and feel that consciousness.

I was at a conference once and I wanted to know what gravity felt like in terms of this consciousness, so I tuned in to the attraction between the earth and the sun ... it was literally an eye watering feeling of immense love.  What we know as physics are mathematical models of this immense love, Cosmic love!  What we call quantum mechanics and statistical physics are models of the group behaviour of societies!

"There is no such thing, in your terms, as nonliving matter.  There is simply a point that you recognize as having the characteristics that you have ascribed to life, or living conditions - a point that meets the requirements that you have arbitrarily set.
"This makes it highly difficult in a discussion, however, for there is no particular point at which life was inserted into nonliving matter.  There is no point at which consciousness emerged.  Consciousness is within the tiniest particle, whatever its life conditions seem to be, or however it might seem to lack those conditions you call living."

Life and Death

“Life is expression.  It comes to be out of the force of itself, and no force stands against it or threatens it.  Death in your terms certainly seems an end, but it is instead a translation of life into another form.”

Dreams Keep Us Alive

“The conscious mind, however, can only hold so much.  Life as you know it could not exist if everything was conscious in those terms.  The sweet parcel of physical existence, I have told you, exists as much by merit of what it does not include as it does by merit of your experience.  In important ways your dreams make your life possible by ordering your psychological life automatically, as your physical body is ordered automatically for you.  You can make great strides by understanding and recalling dreams, and by consciously participating in them to a far greater degree.  But you cannot become completely aware of your dreams in their entirety, and maintain your normal physical stance.”

Dream Recall and Impulses

I find this Seth quote interesting.  We cannot conceive of the complexity and extent of our multidimensional dreams ... dreams that literally cruise the entire Cosmos and spawn universes.  Even though we only get "stick figure" representations of our dreams in dream recall, it's comforting to know that the Inner Self knows what's going on and doesn't sleep ... providing on-going impulses to keep us safely on the pathway of life.  We are our own "Guardian Angel".

"You could not physically handle anything like complete dream recall.  You are not consciously capable of dealing with the psychological depths and riches that activity reveals.  For one thing, your concepts of time, realistically or practically speaking, as utilized, would become more difficult to maintain in normal life.  This does not mean that far greater dream recall than you have is not to your advantage, because it certainly is.  I merely want to explain why so many dreams are not recalled.
"While the large proportion remain relatively hidden, however, the average person often meets with dream fragments just below the normal threshold of consciousness - not recognizing them as what they are - experiencing instead the impulse to do this or that on a given day; to eat this or that, or to refrain from something else."  An easy enough example is the case where an individual with no memory [of such a dream] decides to cancel a plane trip on a given day, and later discovers that the plane crashed."
