The Singularity of Knowledge

 An interesting article ...

The Singularity of Knowledge

It’s not just some blurry point of infinitude on our horizon — we’re basically there.

“The time has come to realise that an interpretation of the universe — even a positivist one — remains unsatisfying unless it covers the interior as well as the exterior of things; mind as well as matter. The true physics is that which will, one day, achieve the inclusion of man in his wholeness in a coherent picture of the world.”

― Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

Personally, I’m not really a fan of the term ‘singularity’. It seems to be a cop out for trying to describe a point of indescribable progress. It’s lazy. Especially when thrown into discussions surrounding A.I. or technology — we’ve turned it into such a casually-regarded inevitability that we’ve allowed it to obstruct the pathways of our collective imagination.

Not only is it a lethargic way to idealize the future — to speak of variable singularities as they’re inevitably stitched into our horizons — but it’s also a failure in terms of our philosophical practice of intuitive foresight and critical anticipation.

Sure, it may seem near impossible to describe these certain points at which our chosen variable takes on an infinite value, but it need not prevent us from trying. In all truth, we ourselves exist in a singularity — we’re a bipedal example of the infinite progress that our primordial ancestors couldn’t necessarily envision, no matter how hard they could have tried.

Yet, I’m sure that some of them would have had some startlingly accurate or, at the least, entertaining guesses.

And so, to contextualize this rambling preamble, we should embrace the idea of a singularity, not as a term used to capture our inability to understand what’s on our horizon, but as the literal interpretation of cohesive unification, and as an invitation to try and imagine the infinitude of what’s in store for us.

This, when all is said and done, is the hallmark of what makes us human — the innate ability to predict, hypothesize, imagine.

The Noösphere

I’ve written previously about the noösphere — an idealized high-energy layer of human thought and connectivity that is constructed upon our world of ideas and innovation; somewhat of an informational nervous system, a shroud of mental inter-connectivity to which we become more and more dependent upon, fashioned from and by knowledge, exponentially generating more and more information that propels us to unrealized heights of human existence.

It’s a mouthful. And a bit of a grandiose idea, if not an already-actualized aspect of our reality.

The concept had originated in 1926 (arguably as early as 1922) by a trio of astoundingly underrated minds: Edouard Le Roy (philosopher), Pierre Teilhard de Chardin (paleontologist) and Vladimir Vernadsky (geochemist) who had agreed upon their conceptualization of this sphere of human thought in the sense of a lexical analogy to the geosphere, atmosphere, and biosphere.

We’re now on the doorstep of the century mark from whence this theory had been birthed out of this odd three-way of intellectual prospecting. Long after the innovations of radio wave technology and telecommunications, as well as the more pressing advent of the internet, we’re seeing this noösphere come to fruition. Rapidly.

To beat a preambling drum: if these three minds could only see how information moved around the world at today’s pace, they themselves would have a hard time describing it, back then, as anything other than a singularity.

Nevertheless, the noösphere is as real as it could have ever been imagined to be, and it warrants more than a respectful nod in the direction of its existence, as it means that we’re in store for some monumental achievements atop the ever-growing pinnacles of our epoch.

If only we could make sense of them, or anticipate them enough that we don’t resign ourselves to labelling it a singularity.

Connectivity

I’m not going to try and postulate the many ways in which the noösphere will revolutionize our systems of knowledge — it’s getting tiresome to copy and paste the ö.

This is more about an acknowledgement that we’re on the verge of unfathomably remarkable milestones in the journey of our understanding, milestones that we don’t need to concretely identify as much as we ought to loosely imagine.

First and foremost, we have to consider the landscape of our past, present and future knowledge structures. While Medium’s not necessarily the most appropriate outlet to get into such details, we can concisely agree that we exist in a time like no other with respect to how we currently cultivate and share information.

Knowledge is no longer restricted to the clergy or to those with sufficient tuition payments. Information, despite it’s clunky and clumsy manner of being organized, has been liberated for most of the minds on the planet.

This point should be celebrated ad nauseum, but it’s rarely appreciated.

More critically to our modern perspective (as praising the internet is very 1990s), we’re continuously seeing the development of more streamlined and efficient methods by which information flows around.

Upload speeds are increasing, mediums are propagating, frequencies are amplifying, receivers are tuning more precisely. Hardware, whether we’re talking about 7G towers or Neuralink, is barely able to keep up with our insatiable appetites for innovation.

Information transfer is increasingly nearing the plateaus of immediacy and, in getting there, the noösphere is becoming more responsive, more sensitive, and all the more self-propagating.

The nervous system is developing.

Harmony

Our reality functions by various thermodynamic laws that nothing can seem to escape. No matter how tangible or intangible, entropy pervades anything and everything, always moving things from a state of order to disorder.

However, as the intelligent creatures we are, we have the uncanny ability to smirk in the face of this law by being able to re-establish some order from the disorder at play.

Think of an engine. It takes a stable fuel and uses the disorder caused by the burning of that fuel to create a new sense of order (locomotion). The volatility and disorder is harnessed into new methods of order (travel).

The same can be said for our systems of knowledge.

In an increasingly nonsensical world, we tend to make sense of things however we can. We write, we podcast, we legislate, we regulate.

Knowledge is just another resource that can spin out of control and that we can organize as need be, one that we’ve co-existed with since we’ve been able to share it throughout our history, from ancestral folklore around a fire to transcribing hieroglyphics.

With the future comes an exponentiation in the many flows and streams of information. Not just the message but the medium; not just the transmitter and receiver but the amplifiers and transistors and scramblers as well.

Things will get messy, as they are already becoming with the likes of social media, biased news, non-credible resourcing, noisy and dysfunctional types entertainment.

“Frankly there is nothing more cosmic than this freaking planet and all the illusions and delusions we entertain ourselves with. A knotted ball of yarn, between the absolute and the infinite. “

But, again, wherever disorder can be found, there is order to be made.

It’s not too difficult to foresee the eventual (and hopefully inevitable) harmonization of knowledge structures. A unification of sorts, one that spans the previously-compartmentalized lines of study, stitches together the feedback loops and modernizes the lenses and filters through which we understand reality.

This is the singularity of knowledge of which I write — not a singularity in the sense of an indescribable infinite, exponentiating into infinity but as a coming together, a literal singularity. An absolute.

Synergy

Beyond imagination, the human mind is also gifted with the ability to decipher patterns — to make sense out of nonsense.

Especially, we seem to love common denominators.

So much so that the biggest breakthroughs in science have revolved around unification as much as they have around discovery. Routinely, we’ve made paradigm-shattering discoveries by simply tying loose ends together, and we continue to operate under this ambition (it can be said that our next target in line is dark matter).

The greatest minds in history have understood this need for unification to be the ultimate prerogative. Some, like Nikola Tesla, had subsequently failed in their connecting of certain dots while others, like James Clerk Maxwell, had become famous for it.

The problem is that it’s not easy. Far from it.

As clever as we are, we’ve compartmentalized our systems of knowledge into such distinct and divided segments of study that it’s near impossible for one student to embark upon two opposing streams of belief, something that had been the norm only a hundred years ago.

The noösphere promises us a rekindling of this comprehensive approach to understanding our world. With its synergetic potential and it’s touch-point responsiveness, it holds the ability to take all that we’ve chopped up and bring it back together, even if for a moment, just to see if anything blends together comfortably, anything that we hadn’t had, or couldn’t have had, previously considered.

Because, and this is the main point to digest, the noösphere is able to do something that we ourselves have a hard time doing. It can discern and catalogue, cross-boundaries and synthesize streams of information. It can employ numerous algorithms that would take us an absurdly long time to match in terms of efficacy.

Sounds like A.I. doesn’t it?

It doesn’t necessarily have to be, though artificial intelligence will certainly be an integral part of its picture, as it currently is.

The noösphere is the environ. We are the data points.

Twitter lets political discourse unfold in real time. Instagram lets people share their experiences with a taste of immediacy. TikTok, well, it may serve useful in some respect one day.

Quora, Reddit, Wikipedia. All far from perfect, but we’re getting there.

Once we’re able to communicate faster and better and once we’re able to contextualize and idealize more comprehensively than ever before, we’ll see the connecting of a new array of dots that we hadn’t previously thought possible.

Knowledge will come together, under a real singularity, and harmonize itself to a point whereby we’ll have as comprehensive of an outlook as we can imagine.

Whatever this really means (and it may mean many very different things), it will be the milestone of our civilization.

Technologically, socially, environmentally, astronomically, biologically — information will reach the apex of interconnectedness; in so doing, we’ll have the most informed understanding that there can possibly be (correlating to our rate of new discoveries) at any given time.

Our segregation of various fields of study will no longer be isolating; our subjective experiences and insights will no longer be so subjective; our vision will no longer be obstructed by division.

The singularity of knowledge — it’s already happening, but it’s about to speed up to rates we won’t even realize until we’re able to look back on it.

Our only obligation, it seems, is to nurture this process rather than standing back and watching it unfold on its own under the presumption of a far-and-away singularity that we don’t have enough time or imaginative power to consider.

In essence, we are the singularity.

The Ship of Life

 The Ship of Life

The Transcendors indicated that, in the 3rd dimensional reality, emotion and thought are separated.  Emotion launches our adventure into the 3rd dimension which then triggers thought which triggers more emotion which triggers more thought which triggers …. and on and on.

Steering a sail boat could be a good metaphor for this life we live.  Here, in our 3rd dimensional reality, wind and the seas are the energies of emotion and what one does to steer the boat is the metaphor for thought.  The trick, I suppose, is to feel the emotion (the energy of the moment) but not to be pushed around by it; rather, to use these energies to propel our boat of life … Zen meditation in different words.  Cayce’s use of ideals … using ideals as a navigational aid to steering our sail boat … is also a key element to mastering 3rd dimensional life; i.e. we need to know where we want to go in life and to master seamanship if we want to get there elegantly.

Metaphors are fun … though I haven’t mastered seamanship … but that doesn’t mean I’m “all wet”! LoL

Seth on "Ocean of Value Climate"

 Ocean of Value Climate

Seth: "The value climate of psychological reality can be likened to an ocean in which all consciousness has its being. There are multitudinous levels that can be plunged into, with various life forms, diverse and alien, but nevertheless interconnected and dependent one upon the other. I like the ocean analogy because you get the idea of continuous flow and motion without apparent division.

As temperatures in various depths of ocean change, and as even the color of the water and of the flora and fauna change, so too in our value climate there are quality changes, and senses equipped to project and perceive the changes. There are distortions because of the limitations of the outer senses, but the inner senses do not distort. The inner senses inhabit directly the atmosphere of our value climate; they see through the ever-varying camouflage (physical) patterns, and the flux and flow of apparent change. To some small degree in our sessions you plunge into this ocean of value climate, and to the extent that you are able to divest yourselves of the clothes of camouflage, you can be truly aware of this climate.

What is required is more than a shedding of clothes, however. To plunge into this ocean you also leave the physical body at the shore. It will be there when you get back. Your camouflage patterns can be likened to those cast by sun and shadow upon the ever-moving waves. As long as you keep the pattern in mind, you create it, and it is there. If you turn your head away for a moment and then look quickly back you can see only the wave. Your camouflage and your world are created by conscious focusing and unconscious concentration. Only by turning your head aside momentarily can you see what is beneath the seemingly solid pattern. By plunging into our ocean of value climate you can dive beneath your camouflage system and look up to see it, relatively foundationless, floating above you, moved, formed, and directed by the shifting illusions caused by the wind of will, and the force of subconscious concentration and demand.

Yet even these camouflage patterns must follow the basic rules of the inner universe, and reflect them, even if in a distortive manner. So does value expansion become reincarnation and evolution and growth. So are all the other basic laws of the inner universe followed on every plane, and reflected from the most minute to the most gigantic spectrum.

Concentrating upon your own camouflage universe, you are able to distinguish only the distortive pattern, and from this pattern you deduce your ideas of cause and effect, past, present and future, and ideas of an expanding universe that floats"

Some thoughts on physics

Right now my “favourite physicist” is Carlo Rovelli.  He wrote books such as  “Reality is not What it Seems”, “The Order of Time”, etc.  He is very insightful and creative … and I think his approach (which connects gravity and quantum mechanics with string theory) seems the most promising.

Actually, my all time favourite is Julian Barbour who wrote “The End of Time”.  That book is very readable … and I’ve used his insights in my workshop.

What is common to both of these approaches is that time arises, it is not assumed, in a multiverse.  Carlo is describing how the pixels (the “trapped light”) in our 3D multi sensory TV screen called physical reality works while Julian describes how this TV show is produced.  The common “limitation” in both of these approaches is that they don’t start with consciousness, though they do describe potential mathematical constructs that consciousness works in.

By the way, when it comes to “dark matter” and “dark energy” Kryon and the Ummites point to an elegant solution.

Kryon has stated that there are 3 pairs of forces in the physical universe: one pair at the atomic scale, one pair at the solar system scale and one pair at the galactic scale.  Modern physics knows about the strong and weak atomic forces and the strong (electromagnetic) and weak (gravity) forces at the solar system scale … but they don’t realize that dark matter and dark energy are the pair at the galactic scale.

The theosophists have pointed out that physical entities with rotation and revolution are actually a conscious beings … atoms, solar system, the milky way galaxy … which is consistent with Kryon’s concept.

The Ummite material pointed out that our physics will remain in the “kindergarten level” (my words for a Kryon description) until we start using 4-valued logic (true, false, both true, and unknowable) and a base 12 system of mathematics.  It’s been known for a few decades now that gravity and electromagnetism can be described using a quaternion (base 4) algebra.  Combining that with atomic forces one has an octonion algebra.  The full solution within a galaxy would be this octonion algebra coupled with a quaternion algebra (dark matter and dark energy) … which gives what the Ummites were talking about … a base 12 mathematics with associated “particles”.

To the best of my knowledge, nobody is thinking that way … too bad!

Some comments on ETs and Choice

When we think about “ETs” remember that we’re tuned into a specific “channel” (i.e. frequency) of Earth and the Cosmos.  We live in a multiverse full of life in all “channels” and all dimensions.  Lazaris, for example, would be an “ET” but they don’t bother to manifest a physical presence (apparently, that’s more common than those, like us, who create these illusions out of trapped light and pretend they’re real).

In the Transcendors recording on 9 Dimensions they mention that there is no time and space in the 4th dimension so “ETs” cruise the Cosmos in the 4th dimension and then have to adjust their matter (their atomic structure) to our particular frequency/density.  A lot of them can only hold this frequency for only a short time (because of the density).  Others (like the Pleiadeans) can mentally shift their atomic structure to be compatible with our reality.

What we “know” about the Lemurians (the original ones in the Pacific Ocean) is that they expressed a 5th dimensional consciousness in the 3rd dimensional Earth.  To us they would appear to be Avatars/magicians because they weren’t limited by our understanding of physics.  The Lemurian civilization in the Pacific Ocean basically finished what it set out to do and literally disappeared from our 3rd dimensional illusion. Matias de Stefano describes how some “Lemurians” inhabited the regions around the Indian Ocean where lemurs are found, but they had downshifted in frequency.  Many reincarnated as Atlanteans … originally a 4th dimensional civilization.

Anyway, Lazaris and the Transcendors (and I think Seth as well) have said that the planets that we visit with our current 3rd dimensional consciousness will all appear to us to be lifeless worlds.  Part of the current shift in Gaia consciousness is to move to a 5th dimensional expression and, along with that shift, we’ll really see the life in the other planets and worlds and will be able to travel to these worlds through the 4th dimensional reality … literally taking no “time” as we know it.

The WingMakers are our most probable future earth for us if we hold that belief.  Unfortunately a lot of people on the planet have bought into the “end times” prophecies so they will create their own personal apocalypse either through wars, earthquakes, pandemics, or whatever.

We’ve learned about the WingMakers, Lazaris, Seth, Transcendors, Matias, etc., and we do what we do … to have the opportunity to create the future of an ascended Earth for our personal experience.  We live in a multiverse of choice and free will where all possibilities and probabilities exist simultaneously.  We project (aka manifest) our personal local universe from that multiverse based on our beliefs.  The choice is ours.

I think that’s pretty cool …

Elias on Hope, Faith and Trust

Elias on Hope, Faith and Trust

MARK: From your perspective, yeah. Hope: Is it negative or a positive?

ELIAS: Negative. Hope is the want for something to change in relation to what you want it to be.

MARK: Okay.

ELIAS: Hope ultimately leads you in a direction of disappointment. Hope is not a positive, effective expression. FAITH is definitely a direction that will contribute to you creating what you want.

...

ELIAS: Faith is the expression and the action of trusting what you don’tknow and what you can’t see. Faith is future-based. Trust is present. You have trust in yourself and in what you do now, and that is foundational. Faith is the expression of extending that trust to the future in relation to what you can’t see yet and what you don’t know yet, but you trust that future manifestation because you have the trust in what you are doing now, and that that creates that foundation for that future expression.

“Be wondrous with yourselves and each other, and remember the magic word: cooperation”

ELIAS: Good afternoon! (Group applause, shouting and cheering; some participants shout in unison, “Happy 25, you’re not alive but you still jive!”) Very well. Thank you. (Group laughter and Elias chuckles) A quarter of a century. (Chuckles)

And now at this point, what we shall be discussing is flow and interconnectedness, and the pieces that prevent you from expressing that interconnectedness, the automatic pieces that you don’t necessarily even see that stop you from that interconnectedness, or the objective realization of that interconnectedness.

All of you have been diligently moving in the direction of expanding your individual awarenesses, and you are now on that cusp of moving into that actual experience and realization of interconnectedness. And as I have expressed recently in our internet group, interconnectedness is not connecting with a tree or a rock or a cloud or the earth in general; it is the recognition of everything and how it flows, and how it all moves one into the next and into the next and into the next, and how everything is connected. Which I have been expressing to all of you for quite some time, but now you are beginning to actually see it, or are just about to see it, and in that, giving yourselves glimpses of that interconnectedness in your own experience, in your own life. How your experiences in your life are connected, regardless of the subjects, that it doesn’t matter what the subject is. One moment you may be engaging one activity, and in the next moment you may be doing something entirely different, but they do flow together if you allow them to. Or without the awareness, you move in this capacity of stop-start, stop-start, stop-start, and you don’t realize how connected everything is. And in not realizing that, you don’t have adequate information to be making choices intentionally in the most beneficial direction for yourself—and therefore also, by extension, for everyone else.

In this, when you also are recognizing that interconnectedness and how everything flows together, it allows you not only to be making choices that are self-directed and self-structuring and that ARE to your greatest benefit, but it also allows you to see the bigger picture of your world, of your life, of how you touch beyond what you see, that you ARE actually affecting much farther than you realize, that you are constantly touching other individuals and influencing situations. And in that, although you may not see it objectively, the more aware you are and the more you are aware of that interconnectedness—not necessarily with other people but the interconnectedness of yourselves and everything you do—the more you begin to actually catch a glimmer of how that is rippling out and actually touching other people and influencing in subjects and situations that are far beyond what you would have imagined, and how powerful you are, how much strength you have in that energy that you possess.

In this, one of the greatest obstacles in relation to experiencing interconnectedness is the automatic barriers that you create between yourselves and the rest of your world. And you create those barriers not actually even realizing how you are doing that, or that you are even doing that in many situations, because of influences in earlier time frameworks, in earlier experiences in your life. In this, what I will say to you also is that there are two distinct types of experiences: the experiences that you have as children, and then the experiences that you have as adults.

Now, let me say to you, children are tremendously resilient, although you do carry experiences and trauma from childhood through your life until you address to it, and there are definite influences. The traumas that you might create as an adult are actually in many capacities more difficult to address to. They are more difficult to neutralize. Traumas that you generate as an adult you don’t necessarily protect yourself by forgetting, and because you don’t forget, or because you are aware of them, you place shields around yourselves that are impenetrable and are difficult to address to and are difficult to remove.

In this, the traumas and the difficulties and experiences that children experience, which I would say in relation to the present time framework I have recently expressed information that in the entire world—not simply your country, but throughout the entire world—there are actually two generations of individuals, two generations of people that approximately 70% of your world has experienced childhood traumas, which was born out of your Second World War.

Your Second World War was a treacherous time framework in your history. It was very different from any other time in your history, because you moved into a direction in which you lacked two very important pieces, one being honor and the other being the conviction of rightness.

Now, although I expressed considerable information to each of you about the dangers of being absolutely right, in war, throughout your history it has always been a very important factor to have the conviction of rightness on your side. And each side has always had that, throughout your history. That in every war in your history, from ancient times to before ancient times to that second world war, all of the participants—the soldiers, the commanders—all of the participants in every war have had the conviction of their rightness on each side, believing genuinely that they were right and that was what they were fighting for, that rightness.

And they incorporated another factor which was exceptionally important, which was honor. Both sides of every war have always incorporated that expression and that conviction of honor, that even in the face of their enemy, if they were face to face with their enemy they expressed that conviction of honor with their enemy. What that means is they acknowledged the humanness of their enemy. They acknowledged that even in the face of another individual that they believed was tremendously wrong and was their enemy, they also saw them as a fellow human, a man—because until recently, men were the ones that fought the wars.

Now, in that, in the acknowledgment of their fellow men in honoring them as fellow humans, this set a very different dynamic between peoples throughout history. And although every war has yielded trauma with almost everyone that participates in them—because , unbeknownst to any of YOU, you cannot take a life and not have it affect you; you cannot kill another human and not be affected by it. It isn’t possible. In this, because of the conviction of rightness and because of the conviction of honor, until your Second World War the soldiers, the commanders, everyone that fought in these wars—all of them—they experienced their traumas during these wars, but when they returned home they had the ability to re-assimilate themselves into their societies—into their families, into their homes, into their societies.

From the time of your Second World War, these two factors were lacking. There was no longer the conviction of rightness on either side, contrary to what you might think. Even the Japanese, even the Germans didn’t have the conviction of rightness. They had the conviction of conquering and ruling, and the rest of the world was defending, but [none] of the peoples had a genuine conviction of rightness, that they were right in what they were fighting for. Without that conviction of being right in what you are fighting for, it is simply an expression of opposition; there is only defense. And in that, even those that you viewed as the aggressors—the Italians, the Germans, the Japanese—even these people were [acting in] defense. They were ideally wanting to conquer and rule, but they also were defending their territories and defending their ideas--not ideals. They didn’t have ideals, they had ideas – which is different.

And the other piece that was lacking was honor. There was no honor, because there was no rightness. There was only defending. And in that, the enemy was not viewed as human—by either side. The enemy was not human.

This is an important factor, because this is what carried on after the war, which then bred two generations of children that were viewed as not human. Two generations of children that were perceived as possessions, that had no purpose other than being a possession and other than being a legacy as lineage—not a legacy to be proud of, a legacy simply to carry on a lineage. And in that, they had no other purpose.

Animals had greater purpose. The family dog had a purpose of protecting the home. The family cat had a purpose of ridding the house of any rodents. They had purposes; therefore, they were valued more. Children were burdensome, because they required attention and they required food and they required clothing, and therefore they were a burden. They didn’t produce anything, therefore being less than human because they were not viewed as people until they were adults. Then you became a human. Then you became an individual, a person. But before that, you were simply a possession that the individuals, the parents, could incorporate behavior in whatever manner they chose.

Now; in this, these children became the outlet of the trauma and rage of a generation of individuals—masses of individuals—that had experienced horrific trauma and torture in war and had no outlet for any of that. And therefore, what they did was they came home, they did not assimilate into society, they did not assimilate into their families, they isolated themselves and they isolated their families, and they created two generations of scarred individuals.

Now; the reason that I am expressing this information to all of you is because most of you—not all of you, but most of you—are of an age that you fit into those two generations. Therefore, most of you have some factors of trauma in your lives that have been affecting you throughout your lives whether you are aware of it or not; and in that, have been affecting your behaviors, your choices. And that is what creates the difficulties that people incorporate with relationships, with jobs, with family, with money. The difficulties that people incorporate in expressing themselves and that they are addressing to with myself, they come from these experiences. These are the influences and what you present in behavior.

Now; how is that relevant? It is very relevant, because it is almost impossible for you to move in a direction of recognition of interconnectedness and the experience of interconnectedness, even with yourself, if you have SHIELDS around you, if you are holding the world at bay, or if you are isolating yourselves because you don’t know how to interact, or you don’t know how to be.

One very significant piece that these two generations have expressed in behavior that is tremendously common—which almost all of you have experienced—is taking personal responsibility for others, that it is your responsibility to make sure that other people are happy and are safe and are secure and are well—that is your job. Because that isn’t what YOU received, therefore YOU are responsible to give that, to take care of. And taking care of can be expressed in many different manners: it can be in financial manners—not necessarily that you have money that you would be taking care of other people with, but that you would manage other people in their money—that you are the ones that take care of managing everything with other people.

In this also, what it has created in these two generations of being almost what you would term to be outcasts, it has created a need in people to be needed, that many individuals will express that a foundation of a relationship is that you are needed. And people believe this. And people may not necessarily express it in words, but they definitely express it in actions, that you need to be needed. And these expressions all create shields. They create barriers. When you move in directions of needing to be needed, you create behaviors that influence other people to be dependent. Therefore, you are indispensable, because other people are dependent on you and that is important.

I acknowledge many of you, that you have looked at these expressions and these subjects and that you are addressing to them and that you are recognizing how influencing they are. And in that, you can be examples to other individuals of how inefficient that is—and it isn’t love. It isn’t an expression of genuinely taking care of, either. It is need, and need is not something that is a benefit to any of you.

In this, I am exceptionally encouraging to all of you in your movements and in your expressions to be moving beyond these influences from childhood or from adulthood, and moving in directions in which you can be connected and in which you can begin to see the wondrousness of your own flow and how exceptional it is, and how empowering it is that you can actually choose what you WANT to choose—that you can choose what you want to feel, you can choose what you want to do, you can choose what you want to engage and who you want to engage with. You can choose it all, intentionally, and in that, empower yourselves and be an empowerment to everyone around you and begin to see how far that touch actually extends, because that is how glorious all of you actually are.

Now; I shall open for questions from all of you, in what do you perceive or what do you see in your experiences that create the most difficulties? What do you recognize or wonder about?

Elias on Follow Your Flow and Interconnectedness

Elias on Follow Your Flow and Interconnectedness

Extract from Elias Webinar 20201004

CARLEEN: So, that’s the key to cooperation? Follow your flow. Pay attention to what you are doing. Accepting—

ELIAS: What I would say is, your flow actually will naturally be happening if you ARE moving in that direction, if you ARE expressing that interconnectedness. And let me express to you: Interconnectedness is not merging with a tree. Interconnectedness is not the idea that you are interconnected with the earth and that the earth is connected to you. That is all well and good, but that is not what interconnectedness is. Interconnectedness in the experience of it as you become more self-aware is that everything in your experience, everything in your day, everything you do, everything you encounter and engage, you are aware of how it is connected with everything else.

I have been expressing that point for a quarter of a century now. And NOW you are beginning to see it in action, how one action flows into another action. How (pause) a death can flow into an expression of creativity. How you move in a flow with what you are doing with your actions, with your behaviors and with your expressions. And in that, it doesn’t matter what it is in subject matter, that every subject is connected with every other subject. Therefore, you can be in a situation in which you are engaging with family members and there is conflict and people are disagreeing and they are confused. And you have a discussion, and you recognize that in the next moment that has somehow flowed into choosing to engage a supper together. You don’t necessarily automatically think that one is connected to the other. You flow with them or you don’t, but you don’t think about HOW they are connected.

Or that you are tremendously distraught in one moment because you are presented with a death that is tremendously affecting you, and the next moment you are genuinely moving in a direction of appreciating another individual and their behavior and what they do and how you interact with them.

Now, in any other time framework you wouldn’t necessarily see how those are connected, but they are. The appreciation even in the loss of the death gives way to the recognition of an appreciation of a behavior in another individual that you interact with; that you may have noticed that previously, but you didn’t connect those two factors together; that because something is gone, there is an appreciation of something that isn’t gone. But you wouldn’t have necessarily connected them together previously, but now it is very easy to see how they ARE connected together.

Or how you are engaging the individual that grooms your yard, and how that flows into an inspiration in your home to be engaging rearranging certain aspects of your home. You wouldn’t connect those two subjects together; one is an individual that is grooming your yard, it has nothing to do with what you do inside your house or in a particular room – but it does, because that individual may have inspired you to be creative in some manner that you weren’t before.

Everything flows into each other. And I have been expressing the analogy of the stream for many years, and the tree that falls into the stream, or the boulder that falls into the stream, as analogous of you moving in a direction and unexpected actions occur in your life on a daily basis. And what do you do with them? And how do they connect to other actions that are occurring in your life, in your day? Because they do connect, in the day.

In that, you have this tremendous, tremendous volume of energy now that is available to you, to help you to see all of this interconnectedness, to see what your flow is, how you are that stream, how you flow no matter what – or you don’t, or you stop and start. But the direction in shifting IS to flow no matter what. Regardless of what falls into that stream, that you flow over it or around it or under it, but you keep flowing. And that object that fell into your stream, into your flow, then changes your flow in some manner. It enhances it. Because then you, as you flow around it, you take that experience with you and you use it. And what do you use it for? Do you use it to follow feelings? Or do you use it in a manner that enhances and encourages your creativity, that you then express and THAT flows outward and touches everything else? Or do you follow feelings and use THAT to touch everything else, in manners that you don’t necessarily want?

This is the reason that flow is so important. And more than that, my friends, the reason that flow is so important isn’t that you would be contributing to your world, but because you want to be satisfied, content and happy. You want to be happy in your lives. You want to be satisfied. You want to be content in your lives. That is ultimately what is so important. You want to live long, you want to be happy, you want to be satisfied in your lives.

And in that, you can do all of that, but that also is a matter of that flow. And that flow is a matter of that interconnectedness, and the interconnectedness is a matter of that cooperation.

Elias on There Are No Absolutes

Extract from Elias Webinar 20201004

“About perception, would you comment on conspiracy theories and otherthings that many people believe that simply aren’t true? Yes, people believe what they want to believe and our lives are based on our perceptions, but some things are just not true to this blueprint. For example, people believe that bleach injected into veins will stop the coronavirus and that the Clintons are drinking the blood of children. There’s so much false information being directed at people, and it is so easily disseminated now. This concerns me because it affects elections and it can affect other people that I care about, like refugees who are suffering and aren’t allowed into this country.” From Naomi, because her microphone isn’t working.

ELIAS: Very well. This is an excellent example, because there is a considerable amount of differences in people’s perceptions and their opinions and what they believe and what they don’t believe. And then there is that statement, that there are simply some things that are not true, and there are simply some things that ARE true. That in itself is incorrect. Because in that, in your reality, the individuals of the former president and his family drinking the blood of children, in your reality that doesn’t exist. In another individual’s reality, they may be making that very real.

Therefore, this is the point, is that you have these ideas that there are absolute rights and absolute wrongs, and that there is absolute truth in some expression or there is absolute falseness in another direction. And all of that is incorrect, because there AREN’T absolutes. I would say that the only absolute, if you will, is that each of you is creating your reality; but how you do that is definitely not absolute.

And in that, this is the point. This is what I am expressing in relation to that cooperation. It isn’t about conspiracy theories and addressing to them. It isn’t about opinions and addressing to them. It isn’t about wrong behaviors and addressing to them. It is about changing your world. Your world IS changing. You have created a direction in which you have the whole world paying attention to what? One expression: a virus. You have the whole world actually moving in a new direction that is unfamiliar, and they don’t know what they’re doing. None of you do.

In this, I would say that this is one of the reasons that many of you – not all, but many of you—in the United States have turned your attention now to the elections. You weren’t paying attention to the elections for a considerable time throughout this year, but now you are. Why? Because you are restless, because you don’t know what direction to move in, and you are once again looking to those outside sources to find a direction.

What of the rest of the world? They don’t have an election that is happening now that they can look to as their answer. But it isn’t your answer, either. The entire world is moving in a direction. The entire world is participating in this new action—not one country, not one community. In this, there are people throughout the world that have conspiracy theories about almost every subject that you can possibly think of. There are people throughout your world that have ideas that are astounding to many of you, but then there are many people that agree with them.

As I expressed initially, as many people and as volumes of support that you can muster in relation to whatever YOU believe, or whatever your opinion is, or whatever you express is absolutely true or not true, there is equally as many people that can express the opposite. Therefore, as many people as you can find that would express that the Clintons are absolutely not drinking the blood of children, you can find equally as many people that will question that and will say, “It’s possible,” “They might be,” or “They absolutely are.” And they believe that they are right equally as much as you believe you are right.

And in that, you can be thinking to yourself, “But I can prove that I’m right. If I went to their home, I could prove that they aren’t doing that.” I would say to you very realistically, the other individuals can very much say the same thing and do the same thing, because you are each creating your own, individual realities. Therefore, you could visit the home of these people, and in your reality you would find them in a situation that you would consider to be normal. And another individual that genuinely believes that theory can visit the identical same home—they can even do it on the same day at the same time—and see something entirely different.

I have been expressing this to all of you for a considerable time framework. And now, more than ever, it is here in your reality. This shift is undeniable, here in your reality, and the entire world is participating.

And in that, it is tremendously important that you are genuinely aware of what it is that you are paying attention to. If you are paying attention to conspiracy theories that you disagree with and that you think are wrong and damaging, you are adding energy to the very thing you don’t want. It doesn’t matter if you agree with something or if you don’t agree with something; what matters is, what are you paying attention to? What are you consuming your energy with? And how are you expressing your energy?

I would be willing to wager that when you are entertaining the idea of conspiracy theories and how damaging they are that you aren’t frolicking through your house and feeling very positive and excited and happy. You likely are irritated or afraid or concerned. This is not an energy that is productive in the capacity that YOU want it to be productive. It isn’t moving in a direction that encourages what you want to encourage. It moves very much in alignment with the very energy that you don’t want to express.

And that is the point: What are you paying attention to? Are you paying attention to being angry at other people’s behavior because they are intolerant and because they are aggressive, and because they are so absolute in what they are expressing and they have no room for any tolerance of anyone else unless they agree with them? Basically, you are doing the same, if that is what you are doing. If you are paying attention to that and being angry about it or being afraid of it or being concerned about it, you are lending energy, and you are doing the same because you want the other individuals to agree with you or to change their behaviour. They won’t change their behavior if they don’t have a REASON to change their behaviour.

If they are met with matched energy, opposing energy—even if that energy is defensive, because defensive energy is also opposing – if other individuals are met with opposing and matching energy, they aren’t going to change. They aren’t going to move in a different behavior. They have no reason to! They are being matched, and that encourages them. Just as when other individuals vehemently and excitedly agree with you and are expressing an intensity of energy, “YES! Can you believe how stupid and ridiculous and ignorant these people are, to be behaving in this manner and believing these stupid conspiracy theories?” and they are projecting this very strong energy in agreement with you, what are you doing? You are matching energy. You are expressing how wrong someone else is, as much as they are expressing how wrong you are.

MODERATOR: Well, Naomi concludes by saying, “I believe I’m following my flow now better than I have for a long time.”

ELIAS: And I congratulate you in that. And I would say that if you are following your flow, then it is very likely that all of these conspiracy theories will not be concerning you for much longer, because they will be unimportant. That if you are genuinely moving in the direction of flow, you are moving in the direction of interconnectedness. And in doing so, much of these subjects become unimportant, and you move in a direction of what is natural for you and how you can be cooperating with other individuals.

And let me express to you genuinely, my friends, I DO understand how difficult this can be. Feelings are very strong, and it can be very challenging to move in directions of choosing differently, rather than being caught in all of the feelings and the passion that can be expressed with them. Moving in intentional directions and changing importances can be very challenging, and I very much understand that. And I express tremendous energy to all of you in helpfulness.

Elias on Interconnectedness and Cooperation

 Elias on Interconnectedness and Cooperation

Extract from Elias Webinar 20201004

ELIAS: I have expressed recently that the energy is tremendously intenseand exceptionally strong collectively, which is creating an unusual situation of which it is considerably easy to be moving in whatever direction you are moving in. Now, that doesn’t mean that that is automatically good. That doesn’t mean that it is tremendously easy to create everything joyfully, blissfully and precisely what you want – although that is a part of it. You can, but there is a considerable amount of unrest and distress, anger, a considerable amount of energy moving in the direction of dissatisfaction and not enough. And I would say even beyond that, there is a considerable amount of energy moving in a direction of not only being angry but projecting in a direction of wanting restitution and punishment in many capacities and in many directions.

But there is also a considerable amount of energy being expressed in which individuals are moving in the opposite direction and are actually creating what they want intentionally and ARE expressing a considerableamount of satisfaction and contentment. And it is, as it has been for quite some time in your terms, a considerable split.

WENDY: I feel divided myself, actually, going in both of those directions, but it sounds to me like it’s especially important now to do what you’ve been talking about all along, which is—

ELIAS: I very much agree. I very much agree. And that is the point, is that now, more than ever, what is tremendously important is to be aware of what you are paying attention to. Because you can slip in directions of negative and conflict very easily, but you can also maintain the opposite in an easy capacity. It is all a matter of what you are paying attention to.

What I would remind all of you is to remember the basic principle of consciousness and creating, which is you always create more of what you pay attention to and what you concentrate on—you always create more. That is the natural action of consciousness.

Therefore, I would express that it definitely is a time in which perception is of ultimate importance, because perception is being generated by what you pay attention to. And in that, I would say that you have tremendous, exceptional power presently to be intentionally creating your reality. You have an exceptional amount of, in a manner of speaking, backup power behind you, of all this collective.

This is the reason that I am suggesting that we discuss this subject of interconnectedness, because that is what is creating this situation. And you have an exceptional opportunity to be turning the tides simply by being aware of what you yourselves are doing and what you are paying attention to, and empowering yourselves.

And what you don’t realize is how tremendously powerful that is and how affecting it is. You incorporate this tendency to continue to think that you are one individual and that you don’t matter, and that you don’t make any difference at all, and that what difference does it make what you do in your individual life when the people in government or the president is doing whatever he is doing. It DOES make a difference. It makes a tremendous difference, because what you are paying attention to is what other people are doing. How much are you asking yourself how does that directly—DIRECTLY—affect you and your life? Not in theory, not in concept, not inprinciple, but how does it physically, directly affect your life? And if it does – and I’m not saying that it doesn’t or it never will – but there is a considerable amount of what is happening with other people or what the behaviors of other people are that isn’t directly affecting you.

WENDY: Yes.

ELIAS: In that, if you are an individual that is presently—presently—in a situation in which the behavior of other individuals in government is directly affecting you, then it is a matter of asking yourself specific questions about what can you do to empower yourself and to be expressing genuine cooperation—not retaliation, not compromise, not acquiescing, not moving in the direction of conflict, not being aggressive, but moving in a genuine direction of cooperation.

Because in this, my friends, let me express to you one very simple statement that is definitely true: Whatever it is that you believe is right, whatever it is that you express in your behavior, whatever it is that you look at that you think is incorrect or wrong, you can find volumes—volumes—of people and sources that will support that. And the person directly next to you can be perceiving the exact opposite, and they can also find volumes of people and sources to support THEIR position. Therefore, which one of you is right? Both of you believe that you are right.

The reason that cooperation is so important, especially now, is because it doesn’t move in a direction in which it denies you being right. It doesn’t deny you being right, but it doesn’t deny the other person being right either. You aren’t right at the cost of someone else being wrong. This is what your history has been built on to this point. This is a tremendous reason that there may be more trauma in this shift, because this is a considerable shift. Your entire history has been built on dominance and one people expressing their rightness and imposing it on other people – and you do this individually.

WENDY: Yeah. And it’s time to move in a different direction.

ELIAS: It IS time to move in a different direction.

WENDY: That is the key, really.

ELIAS: Yes. Cooperation is the key to all of that because in that, you don’texpress your rightness as dominating and as being ultimately absolute that others must bend to.

WENDY: This is a natural sort of… well, I don’t know about natural, but it’s a reaction that is like the default. And we can’t react the same way that people are already reacting, in dominance.

ELIAS: Correct. Correct.

WENDY: And in terms of cooperating, we need to cooperate with the people around us.

ELIAS: Yes. And that means your neighbor that resides on your street that you have been disagreeing with for ten years, or the person that you meet in your community frequently that annoys you and that you generally automatically want to express in an aggressive manner towards that individual. Or the individual that may be a family member, or it may be a friend or it may be an enemy that expresses a very different perception and opinion from yours and is always attempting to convince you how right THEY are, and how much that irritates you.

WENDY: Well, we’ve been insulated from a lot of that right now because of this COVID, but it’s still there.

ELIAS: I would say that depends on where you are.

WENDY: Yeah.

ELIAS: Some people have been, in your terms, insulated from that because they have been isolating, but there are many places in your world, even in your country, that that is not actually the situation, and that people aren’t isolated any longer and that people are engaging with each other. And in that, especially in their own neighborhoods they are being somewhat more interactive with each other. And in that, you may be presented with individuals in your own neighborhoods that you don’t like. Or you might not dislike them, but you definitely disagree with them, and you disagree with their politics, or you disagree with their religious beliefs, or you disagree with their philosophy of life—it doesn’t matter. And in that, the automatic direction is to want to convince another individual how right you are andtherefore how wrong they are. And especially now, without any other subject in YOUR country, the direction of which candidate is more suitable for the position of president and why, and wanting to convince each other that your direction, whatever it may be, is the right direction, and that whoever it is you are speaking to should be accepting that and converting to your direction of thinking and perception. And this is very common.

But this is only YOUR country. I would say that this is only one subject.

WENDY: Yes.

ELIAS: And the subject of wanting to convince someone else that their behavior and that their perception or their viewpoint is incorrect or wrong is worldwide—

WENDY: Yes.

ELIAS: — and is being expressed in all neighborhoods in your world.

Elias on Recurring Dreams

 Elias on Recurring Dreams

ALICIA: Okay. I also have had these repeating dreams, although I haven’thad them in a while. It is making me think that I share a focus with my sister where I am somehow a grossly developmentally deformed child and she is my mother? And that in those focuses she is greatly shamed by this birth, and she keeps me somewhat isolated from people in order to deny my existence, and that might explain some bleed-through action that I have with her. She feels terribly responsible for me, and I feel terribly unattractive in comparison to her.
ELIAS: Yes. You are correct.

ALICIA: What is the purpose when a dream like that keeps repeating? Iassume it’s to call my attention to the fact, to understand that this is a focus, right? But aside from that? Because once I did sort of feel that, I stopped dreaming it.

ELIAS: Correct. Generally speaking, this is what occurs.

Individuals experience recurring dream imagery for different reasons. It may be that they are presenting to themselves dream imagery concerning another focus that has been somewhat remembered, and in that memory it may be somewhat disturbing, or it may be somewhat frightening to the individual. Therefore, it is purposeful to be examining this type of imagery and acknowledging of it, for in doing so, generally speaking, the imagery discontinues and you discontinue incorporating those types of dreams.

In this, they ARE generally associated with some experience that the individual generates in this focus, or with some issue that is being experienced within this focus. And in that, you draw that energy to you, to emphasize that particular association or issue that you may be generating in this focus. That obtains your attention, and it motivates you to investigate and to understand what is occurring.

In this, once you recognize and generate the association of separation between yourself and another focus, and you understand the differences— and also some of the similarities—of your experience or your energies, it allows you to discontinue that intensity or that strength of the association. And generally it can alleviate some of your experiences, in the intensity of them, in this focus also—such as you and your sibling. In recognizing that you have been drawing energy from another focus, and understanding what the experience of that focus is, and knowing that it is not this focus, that allows you to alter your perception somewhat and generate less of an intensity in your experiences now.

Elias on Employment as a Game, not Work

Here are some Elias comments on dealing with “work” … but these comments could apply to any situation.

Enjoy!

Elias on Employment as a Game, not Work

ELIAS: First of all, my friend, let me express to you, this is another exampleof associations being different from what may actually be occurring. In this, you incorporate an action that you identify or define as a job. And in that, in your job you define what you do as work. That creates an automatic association, and part of that association is the expectation that there are elements of work that are uncomfortable or that you must merely struggle through, for that is work. Therefore, it may be helpful for you to redefine your work, and rather than generating the association as work to allow yourself to play a game, and when you engage your employment, approach the situation as an enormous game. Every individual that you encounter is a game piece, and every element that you encounter or interact with, such as computers, are also game pieces. This will be affecting of your perception.

Now; in association with moments in which you generate this feeling that you do not wish to be participating in that moment, you ARE offering yourself a communication. I would express that you would offer yourself that communication much less if you are engaging your employment as a game rather than work; but when you generate that expression to yourself, that feeling, offer yourself permission to respond to it. Not in a manner of black and white, of “I wish not to be here” and therefore you merely leave and it is either a situation in which you participate with your employment or you do not, you either continue and force yourself through your day to continue or you remove yourself entirely. No, acknowledge that communication, that feeling, and allow yourself permission to respond to it. And perhaps you may choose to distract yourself and engage some other activity in some other location for an hour, or perhaps even a few minutes will be sufficient. It is dependent upon how that communication continue— but it is a matter of listening.

The reason that that communication repeats and becomes stronger is that you override it. You hear it (Anon laughs), but you ignore it and you force energy in opposition to it. Whereas, if you are acknowledging yourself and offering yourself permission to act in conjunction with what you are communicating to yourself, once again it dissipates, for you are acknowledging and you are not generating an opposing energy.

When you generate opposing energies, you emphasize whatever you areexpressing to yourself and you reinforce that energy, and it becomes stronger AND it becomes more important. Importance is not necessarily associated with positive or comfort. Many times you place importance upon what you dislike. And the more important it becomes, the more you pay attention to it. And the more you pay attention to it, the more you reinforce it. Therefore, it you dislike some expression and you continue to oppose it, you offer it more and more importance.

More from Elias on Projection

ELIAS: You as essence, as consciousness, choose to participate in many different types of explorations. And in those explorations, dependent upon the type of exploration, you configure energy quite specifically, and you generate identifications for different expressions of the reality that you create to generate certain general and certain specific guidelines. As to your example, you view within your environment many different individuals, and are they actually individuals? Yes, they are actually energies that are configured in alignment with the blueprint of this particular reality—of which this is merely ONE reality—but in alignment with the guidelines and the blueprint of this reality, you all configure your energies in a manner that conforms with that blueprint, or you do not choose to participate in the particular reality.

But as you ARE participating in this particular reality, you have chosen to be exploring what you can generate and how you can manipulate within this particular reality in conjunction with its guidelines. You project energy, which creates a physical manifestation that incorporates a specific form which you identify as yourself. Other essences generate the same action.

And in that, the key element is the objective mechanism of perception. For what you are actually doing is projecting energy. You each project energy to each other, and in the RECEIVING of the energy – not in the projecting of it, but in the receiving of it – each individual configures that energy into solid manifestations. Therefore, you view the solid manifestation of another individual with a particular eye color and hair color and a particular form, a particular height and weight. In this, the other individual is projecting an energy to you with that information, and you configure immediately the energy that you have received to generate the manifestation of the other individual in association with what you have received, which occurs instantaneously.

This is also a magnificent example of the tremendous power that you each incorporate, for you do these actions with no thought and no effort. You immediately receive and configure energy and generate actual physical manifestations. These are the projections of perception.

As I have expressed previously, perception may be likened to a holographic projector. This projector creates images, and they are very real and quite solid, although you can also create them to be less solid and manipulate them in different manners.

Elias on Projection

 ELIAS ON PROJECTION

Now; as I have expressed previously, your body consciousness is not merely a vessel. It is not what you would term to be a shell that houses you. It is actually a projection of you into a physical form. Just as any other physical form within your reality, they are also configurations of energy that are extensions of you and formed into actual matter in physical manifestations.

Conscious Reality Creation

SETH EARLY CLASS SESSIONS, VOL 4, SESSION, JANUARY 11, 1972

Conscious Reality Creation

At one time, there was what we may call a federation of consciousness, though that is not the best term.  But consciously, a group of people upon this earth managed to remember old truths.  They remembered that they formed physical reality from the vitality of their own thoughts and feelings and images.  They knew how to do this consciously.  They knew how to speak the body.  They knew how to speak the wind.  They knew how to send their thoughts and feelings out into a universe to make the kind of universe that they wanted.  Many times the knowledge has been forgotten and many times it has been reclaimed and so hopefully you will reclaim it once again.

There are methods that you barely understand by which you give your bodies vitality and strength.  There are ways and methods by which you daily send forth your image out into the universe.  There are ways and methods by which you form each organism within you and those organisms that you perceive as outside of you.  Hopefully you will reclaim these methods consciously and use them.  This is the endeavor that we are presently engaged in.  It will lead us into the heart of perception as you understand it and as you do not, as yet, understand it.  It will lead you into the understanding that your hopes, as you think of them in the present, exist not only in what you think of as the present, but in the past and future as well.  That you form the universe as you know it en masse and individually from the focal point of this moment, from the focus of this moment that all of your selves exist now and are not done and finished anymore than you are done and finished.  And anymore than I am done and finished. Anymore than my reality is no more than it appears to you in this room, for your reality is far more than it seems to be to you as you sit within this room.  En masse and individually, as you know, your form the room, the furniture, the time, the setting in which it now seems to you, you exist.  It seems to you that there is no other existence for you personally but this room and this time and this moment and yet, of course, you create it.  You create the selves, who in turn create the images that you know.  Within you this knowledge is apparent and speaks to you if you would listen.  You think that there is something very esoteric, mysterious and strange often in what I say and there is not.  What I say is as intimate to you as your own breath is if you would but feel your breath.  If you would but once give up the defenses that you have set between what you think of as your intellect and what you think of as the rest of the self.

Now the sounds and the chanting of the Sumari as you presently understand it, has many purposes.  There are physical repercussions in your own bodies that occur if you would but listen to your bodies and feel them when the songs go on, for there is language beneath words.  Meanings in sounds that your atoms and molecules understand and react to and dance to and combinations that are there for you to open individually.

Where, from without, can truths come to you?  They must come from within you.  I can only encourage you to open yourselves to them, to listen; to be, to experience your own being.  Not to experience your being second-hand through the experiences of others or through the opinions of others, but through your own experience and so I hopefully expect that you will learn these methods as you get them here and as you receive them for yourselves in your own ways.  After all this time you still do not personally accept the fact that you are, in your terms at this moment, the sum of your own thoughts and emotions about yourselves and that whatever you want to fix you can fix, and that whatever you want to change you can change.  If you do not change it is because you do not want to change badly enough.  No results are forced upon you from the outside.  You form the outside.
