Viruses - a cooperative venture

It’s too bad the highly polarized debate between “vaccers” and “anti-vaccers” is not informed with this understanding.

Since each of us creates our own reality from a unified source that loves us (i.e. we do live in a state of grace), Seth’s quote today seems “obvious”.

Apparently, back in the days when the whole idea of microbes invading the body and causing illness was being developed, there was a scientist who offered the theory that what we see as microbes are an effect, not the cause of illness.  To prove his hypothesis he publicly drank a glass of water infected with plague, or botulism, or something like that, and had no ill effects.  That demonstration was written off as stage magic by his opponents.  What is really interesting: his major opponent made a death bed confession that, in fact, microbes were not the main cause of disease.  Unfortunately, there’s no money to be made with that knowledge!

“The viruses in the body have a social, cooperative existence.  Their effects become deadly only under certain conditions.  The viruses must be triggered into destructive activity, and this happens only at a certain point, when the individual involved is actively seeking either death or a crisis situation biologically.

“The initial contagion in such cases is always emotional and mental.”

Man is of good intent

This is an important message from Seth.  We set up ideals that we think represent “good” actions and outcomes then focus on the shortfalls (certainly in the media, which considers “news” to be unusual - usually bad - happenings or prognostications).  It really does make  sense to see the “good intent” in yourself, those around you, and so on.  If life is a form of 3D “video game” that we immerse ourselves in, then what appears to be “bad” is just individuals swept up in the illusion … forgetting they are souls having an earthly experience. In fact, the definition of “sin” in A Course In Miracles is: to think and act as if this physical illusion is real.

This message is particularly important at this point in time when we’re surrounded by news of imminent nuclear war, natural disasters, murder, etc.

The trick in all of this is not to get swept up in the news, but rather to recognize that the world is on track for “ascension” (according to Metatron, Lazaris, and others) but there's a lot of muck to process that humanity has deferred for millennia.  This muck is becoming more and more visible and we're seeing the segments of populations (particularly in the U.S.) that are dwelling in, and feeding on, that muck ... thanks to our media.

We have such a narrow focus in time and space as well as such a short attention span (thanks to social media) that the vast majority of people have no idea what would be a good outcome of anything.  Instead they let their brains do what brains do best .... take things to their "logical" conclusion (aka worst possible outcome).

Seth cautioned Jane and Rob in their day not to get swept up in the potential for disaster.  Since we, as humanity, groups, and individuals, create our own reality within a shared context, the key is to always stay grounded in the present and to be aware of what is around you.  That is your immediate content ... not necessarily a news article about North Korea or a video of some disaster to get the brain going down the road of fear, but rather to see and radiate the love and beauty that is around you.  To ground yourself in nature ... that is loving Gaia (who does see the big picture and is making as gentle corrections as it can during the ongoing transition).

Love and positive dreams in your context fuels recovery of the planet and promotes your health and that of the planet and those around you.  Place your awareness on that love and you'll be an unstoppable force of greater good for humanity.  That's what I do.

“Man is of good intent.  When you see evil everywhere in man’s intent – in your own actions and those of others – then you set yourself up against your own existence, and that of your kind.  You focus upon the gulf between your ideals and your experience, until the gulf is all that is real.  You will not see man’s good intent, or you will do so ironically – for in comparison with your ideals, good in the world appears to be so minute as to be a mockery.”

Importance of Awareness

This is a cute quip from Seth showing how we collectively agree on shared perceptions like the weather, etc. and then that agreement is fed back to us in our personal 3D experience as the primary sense data we manifest.  Being aware of this primary sense data “closes the loop” of manifestation and the illusion ticks along just fine.

The 3D illusion’s "wheels come off" when our logical thought processes or other distractions get in the way of our awareness of primary sense data!  That’s like the ancient Greek philosopher that got run over by a chariot because he ignored his primary sense data and had convinced himself logically that the chariot didn’t exist.

“You form your own reality.  Yet if you are in the Northeast in the wintertime, you had better be experiencing a physical winter, or you are far divorced from primary sense data.”

Grounding

We’re all projectionists … even though we don’t work in a theatre necessarily.  The Ramtha material explains how we do this with the brain and how the brain gets uploaded with imagery stored in neural networks that become our language for life.  Our visual art and media are all about projecting real and imagined events.

Buddhist practices are very much focused on perceiving the original form of every moment … i.e. the moment without all of the overlays of projections.  Buddhist literature speaks of the five skandhas … five overlay’s that we do without thinking when we “perceive” what we think of as a moment.  Grounding and consciously placing the attention in the raw awareness of the moment is key to disengaging from the ego-based “monkey chatter” and blinding projections of our mundane world.

If we think of these skandhas as layers then from inner to outer they can be briefly described as follows:
  • Layer 1:  raw sensory data of the physical formations in the arising moment … an experience of undifferentiated oneness (no self and “not-self”, this could be called “oceanic consciousness” – like that of a fetus in the womb)
  • Layer 2:  primordial feelings arising in the moment …. e.g. pain, pleasure, etc.
  • Layer 3:  ego-based differentiation of subject and object (i.e. perception of ”me” and “not me”)
  • Layer 4:  thoughts arising in the moment (mental formations)
  • Layer 5:  ego-based, dualistic, mundane consciousness that we all know

“As creatures dwelling in time and space, your senses provide you with highly specific data, and with a cohesive-enough physical reality.  Each person may react to the seasons in a very personalized manner, and yet you all share those natural events.  They provide a framework for experience.  It is up to the conscious mind to interpret sense events as clearly and concisely as possible.  This allows for the necessary freedom of action for psychological and physical mobility.  You are an imaginative species, and so the physical world is colored, charged, by your own imaginative projections, and powered by the great sweep of the emotions.  But when you are confused or upset, it is an excellent idea to return your attention to the natural world as it appears at any given moment – to sense its effects upon you as separate from your own projections.”

A Firm Physical Footing

We are not alone, yet we create our own reality.  The key to understanding how we can do this is to recognize that our personal events happen within nested contexts.  What I mean by that is as follows.

I create every moment of my physical experience.  Right now I’m at home typing away on a computer.  The house and even this computer are an example of a context for potential shared physical encounters … anybody who comes into my house generally agrees where the kitchen is and what the computer looks like.  Within that house context we all generally agree upon what I look like (and each of us forms an opinion about that, including me!).  So my physical presence is seen inside the kitchen, inside my house, in my neighbourhood, in the city I live in, in my country, and on it goes.  This nesting means that things appear within ever larger physical domains of agreement.  For people in my home city, who have never been in my house, we don’t have to agree on what my house looks like … but it helps a lot if we agree upon where highways and traffic signs are when I’m driving around!

We also live in nested epochs (pools of time).  If you’re an atom or molecule your pool of time is very short by our standards.  For me: I live in seconds, within minutes, within hours, within days, within weeks, within months, within years, within my lifetime, etc.  When we leap into reality (aka incarnate) we pick an epoch for civilization in addition to basic location contexts.

So this is a long story for Seth’s concise statement on how we create our own reality in a shared context!

Enjoy!

“You must of course interpret events in a personal manner.  You create them.  Yet there is also a meeting ground of more or less shared physical encounters, a sense plateau that offers firm-enough footing for the agreement of a mass-shared world.”

Loss of trust in the self leads to fear

When one looks at the United States 40 years after these comments were uttered by Seth, it’s easy to see the underlying fear in a country that most loudly professes freedom!  My comments on the U.S. reflect what we see in the media.  Luckily it doesn’t take the majority to shift a civilization, only a critical mass.

On the flip side, the Muslim religion (actually all organized religions to varying degrees) teach the individual to mistrust the self and to follow their set of rules and their respective definitions of good and bad in order to live a comfortably “secure”, but very limited, life.

It is certainly interesting times and we chose to be part of it.  According to the predictions concerning 2012 we (humanity and Gaia) chose to move on from the darkness of fear and lack of trust.  I find that Kryon, Metatron and Lazaris are particularly inspiring.  Their common message is that we’re sort of bottoming out and will be in transition until about 2038.  Clearly, it is our job to ensure that our children learn to cultivate a trust of the self, since this is the key to manifesting the vision of Cayce and others of a thousand years of peace and value fulfillment.

The best way to teach our children is to set the example ourselves!

“When people are convinced that the self is untrustworthy, for whatever reasons, or that the universe is not safe, then instead of luxuriating in the use of their abilities, exploring the physical and mental environments, they begin to pull in their realities – to contract their abilities, to over control their environments.  They become frightened people – and frightened people do not want freedom, mental or physical.  They want shelter, a definite set of rules.  They want to be told what is good and bad.  They lean toward compulsive behavior patterns.  They seek out leaders – potential, scientific, or religious – who will order their lives for them.”

Trusting your private self

The importance of trusting our private self is clearly stated here.  The problem as I see it is differentiating between the “voice” of the private self and that of the negative ego.

The negative ego is a structure which provides choices and decisions in the absence of conscious choices and decisions.  The negative ego, however, is unable to think … thus it tends to replay scripts which ultimately become destructive because they’re riddled with the shadow's baggage.  It’s like driving your car forward while looking out the rear window … sooner or later something bad will happen. People lost in negative ego tend to be highly predictable since they’re replaying the same events in their lives and attracting more of the same.

“If you cannot trust your private self, then you will not trust yourself in your relationships with others or in society.

“If you do not trust your private self, you will be afraid of power, for you will fear that you are bound to misuse it.  You may then purposefully put yourself in a position of weakness, while all of the time claiming that you seek influence.  Not understanding yourself, you will be in a quandary, and the mechanics of experience will appear mysterious and capricious.”
